Lagos Lifestyle Game Business ROI Calculator

How many earning cycles would recover a purchase? Enter your own cost, revenue, operating expenses and frequency to estimate net earnings and payback time.

Use this business ROI calculator for the Lagos lifestyle game at lagoslife.app. Start with the amounts shown in your current game, then test whether a business purchase can earn back its cost. The tool measures simple payback; it does not predict an investment return or a resale price.

YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR NUMBERS

Build a payback estimate

User estimates · unverified. Starting zeros are placeholders, not game prices or earnings.

Changing the label keeps your numbers. It does not convert amounts or infer how often the game pays.

The one-off amount you want to earn back.

Money received in one payout, before the costs below.

Costs for that same payout. Do not include the purchase cost again.

Use your own planning clock and expected frequency. No game schedule is assumed.

Keep revenue and operating costs on the same unit. Include each cost once. A weekly or monthly bill must be represented accurately before using it as a per-cycle cost.

Start with your own numbers

Zeros are placeholders. Add a purchase cost, matching revenue and costs, and the frequency you expect.

Calculated in your browser. Inputs are not saved or sent to a game account. This is a constant-earnings estimate, not a promised return.

Keep the earning unit consistent

Choose one payout or one earning day. Enter the revenue and operating costs for that same unit, then the number of those units you expect in your planning week. The unit selector changes labels only; it does not convert amounts or assume how game time relates to your calendar.

Use revenue before the operating costs you enter. If a displayed payout is already net of a fee, do not deduct that fee a second time. Keep the one-off purchase cost separate from recurring operating costs.

How the payback calculation works

  • Net per cycle = revenue per cycle − operating costs per cycle.
  • Weekly net earnings = net per cycle × cycles per planning week. This is operating income after the costs entered, before recovering the purchase.
  • Cycles to recover the purchase = purchase cost ÷ positive net per cycle, rounded up to a whole cycle.
  • Whole planning weeks = recovery cycles ÷ cycles per week, rounded up. This is a planning estimate, not the exact date a payout arrives.

For an invented example, a ₦100 purchase with ₦12.50 revenue and ₦2.50 costs per cycle has ₦10 net earnings per cycle. It needs 10 cycles to recover the purchase; at 3 cycles per week, that falls within the fourth planning week. These are illustrative numbers, not Lagos Life business data.

When there is no finite payback

If revenue equals operating costs, net earnings are zero and cannot recover a positive purchase cost. If costs exceed revenue, each cycle loses money. A positive net amount with zero weekly frequency gives a required cycle count but no projected recovery week.

A purchase cost of zero needs zero recovery cycles. That does not remove operating costs or make a loss profitable. The net-earnings figures and status message still show the business routine you entered.

Business ROI questions

Can I use a weekly bill as a per-payout cost?

Only after you can represent it accurately on the same unit as revenue. Dividing a fixed weekly bill by an uncertain number of payouts can overstate profit. This simple model assumes constant costs per cycle; use the rent and budget planner for a separate view of bills due during a week.

Does the calculator include bad days, resale or taxes?

Only costs and income you include in your estimates. It does not assume a resale rate, guaranteed payout, tax rule, missed collection or variable earnings. You can enter a more cautious revenue estimate and compare the result, but the tool does not establish that the game will pay it.

Why was my input rejected?

All four fields are required; enter 0 explicitly when appropriate. Amounts must be non-negative with at most two decimal places, without commas or currency symbols. Frequency must be a non-negative whole number. The maximum individual amount is ₦90,071,992,547,409.91, and results above the safe calculation limit are rejected.

Is this connected to my game account?

No account or password is needed. Arithmetic runs in your browser, and inputs are not saved. The estimate does not purchase a business, move game money or change your character.
